CHINESE
MASSAGE TREATMENT

to Traditional Chinese Medicine there is a vital force running
through all things in nature and that force is Chi. Chi runs
through the body along pathways or meridians and many things
may cause blockages and produce imbalance. The object of treatment
is to restore the normal flow of Chi.
This unit enables the clinician to apply remedial therapeutic
massage techniques including traditional Chinese medicine
methods. Subjects included are: Chinese massage, Acupressure
points and techniques, Meridian massage procedures, Meridian
stretches, pulse, tongue and face diagnosis, Yin/Yang theory,
and function of Chi in the body.
