Here at ACOA we offer an alternative to lengthy accreditation in Aromatherapy training. Never has there been an easier way to increase job prospects.
If you are new to the field of natural therapies, these eclectic and varied courses are an excellent starting point to give you a “taste” of what this amazing profession offers. They are also excellent for those who are currently in the industry and seek to build their repertoire of knowledge. In addition, they provide underpinning skills if you choose to further your education within the natural therapy and beauty industry.
The following courses meet industry standards for professional development, and are also recognised by P.R.I.D.E. (Professional Recognition in Distance Education), making them ideal for maintaining membership status by providing Ongoing Professional Development (OPD).

COURSE STRUCTURE

Every Professional Development Course begins with Introductory Aromatherapy, which accounts for the first four modules.
After completing your first Professional Development Course, should you choose to go on and study another, you will qualify for RPL on the first four modules (Introductory Aromatherapy) of each course. Fees will be adjusted accordingly, reducing the payment by $190 per course.

This 4-module course forms the basis of all the Professional Development courses.
It introduces students to the world of Aromatherapy by building their knowledge, skills and hands-on practice of blending and administering a range of essential oils.
Upon successful completion, you will be qualified to advise on Aromatherapy products in a health/beauty retail domain, recommend the purpose and use of oils, and will have industry standard knowledge suitable for practice in the work or home environment.
This course will provide opportunities for diversification within an existing health/beauty career, or empower you with sufficient knowledge and skills to use Aromatherapy as a main-stay in an advisory capacity or as an adjunct therapy to massage or other natural therapies.
